A physician based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Dr. Rachel Ash-Bernal practices has expertise in general and invasive cardiology, cardiac imaging, heart failure, critical care and internal medicine. Dr. Rachel Ash-Bernal is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine.

After completing internship and residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, she went on to complete fellowships in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, Cardiovascular Diseases at the Washington University in St Louis and an Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona. She possesses extensive experience in procedures related to cardiac and medical intensive care.
